The break bell has not rung in the old school building in Eilbek for a long time. After the pupils came the students of the Academy of Fine Arts, then a production of the Schauspielhaus - and finally, in 2014, we took over as the landlord of the creative interim use, which will end when the owner carries out construction measures.
The typical school architecture makes Wartenau a special place: creative people now work in old classrooms, have set up studios in the former gymnasium and use the two-storey break hall as a showroom for fashion. We rent out a total of ten rooms ranging from 14 m² to 210 m² to young professionals who graduated or started their business no more than three years ago. Although the building is in a state of disrepair, the tenants are currently making optimal use of the rooms and benefit from the proximity to the HFBK and the Finkenau media campus.
