Coaching

Freelancers, solo self-employed and small entrepreneurs who:

• are self-employed in the creative industries and

• have their company headquarters in Hamburg or the Hamburg metropolitan region and

• whose total income does not exceed € 50,000 per year (in the case of solo self-employed/sole proprietors) or whose taxable annual profit does not exceed € 100,000 (in the case of companies).

• regularly pursue their self-employment in the creative industries with relevance to their income and

• can demonstrate a justified need for coaching.

Funding is available for coaching on the following and related business topics:

• Company structure, company strategy, company development

• Organisation, management, corporate governance

• Development of innovative products, processes and services

• Market strategy, sales

• Marketing, online marketing, PR, brand

• Acquisition, networking

• Financing, liquidity planning, controlling

Coaching measures are not funded

• which are predominantly concerned with legal, insurance and tax issues

• for drawing up contracts, preparing annual financial statements or carrying out accounting work

• which are primarily concerned with expert opinions

• which involve the design and creation of advertising materials (e.g. stationery, logos, flyers) and websites2

• which include acquisition and mediation activities and/or whose purpose is geared towards the acquisition of goods and services which are sold by the coach/coaching company itself

• include the procurement and development of software and hardware or the implementation of IT training measures.

The coaching must last at least one day (eight hours) and a maximum of four days (32 hours). The maximum coaching fee that can be funded is 960 euros per day or 120 euros per coaching hour (one day = eight hours). The amount of funding is based on the income/profit of the applicant. Up to 90% of the coaching fee is funded.
