Not only is it a special work of architecture from the outside, the Elbphilharmonie also offers a very special listening experience from the inside. However, we are visiting Hamburg's most famous concert hall primarily because of the many different job profiles. How do you get your foot in the door? To find out more, we speak to Nicole Boeck (Human Resources), Nadin Hanzig (Production Manager), Cathérine Dörücü (Artistic Planning) and Nicolai Spieß (Marketing).
Hamburg's new landmark was finally opened in 2017 after several delays and is definitely worth a visit. Music naturally takes centre stage. And in the Great Hall, this is true in two senses of the word: the audience tiers around the stage rise up in terraces like a vineyard. As a result, the audience is never more than 30 metres away from the conductor's podium.
