We are the first address for site development involving the local creative industries in Hamburg. We develop concepts, implement participation formats and manage tenders.
2018-2019
Veringhof
In 2018-2019, the Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft organised an open participation process to develop possible utilisation concepts for the site of the former tin works in Wilhelmsburg. A lively creative quarter had already developed on the site, but it was marked by uncertainties: demolition was imminent in 2013 and legal fire safety requirements had not been met in parts of the building ensemble. We were commissioned to develop a permanent utilisation concept for Veringhof 7. The project, which lasted several months, involved local actors as well as cultural and creative workers with workshops, online events and discussions. In an open call for proposals, numerous concept ideas were submitted, from which five utilisation concepts were developed. The project ended with the handover of a sustainable use concept for the Alte Zinnwerke to the Hamburg-Mitte district office.

Born in Schleswig-Holstein, Katja Wolframm studied economics and social sciences at the University of Lüneburg. After graduating, she continued on two tracks: on the one hand as managing director of a shop for handcrafted fashion design, on the other hand she wrote her doctoral thesis on the topic of "Region in the global economy". This involved the creation of competitive advantages in the establishment of companies as well as clusters and co-operations in the Hamburg metropolitan region. At Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft, Dr rer. pol. is responsible for issues relating to commercial property, pop-up and interim uses and is the contact person for the properties let by us.
