Irregular working hours, fluctuating income, opaque regulations on maternity protection, parental allowance and statutory health insurance - the issue of work-life balance can be very challenging in organisational, financial and legal terms, especially for self-employed people in the creative industries.
With a presentation by relationship investors Marielle and Mike Schäfer and a subsequent panel discussion, we would therefore like to shed light on how creative self-employed people can manage the balance between work and parenthood, what legal framework conditions apply and what support services are available.
Since 2016, the relationship investors have been supporting couples through the financial milestones of their relationship - with coaching, talks, their blog, podcast and their two books "Love & Money" and "My Money, Your Money". Her keynote speech will focus on maternity leave and parental leave models for the self-employed.
In the subsequent panel, financial journalist Anissa Brinkhoff will talk to experts and parents about their legal, entrepreneurial, creative and private perspectives on the topic of compatibility. Finally, we invite you to an open round of questions, dialogue and feedback.
Admission and a free drink are included in the ticket price.
