VILLA E362
A place for ideas before they become fashion.
A place for ideas before they become fashion.

VILLA E362 is a location of Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft for the future of sustainable fashion. The listed villa provides spaces for conceptual development, material and design research, interdisciplinary exchange and temporary residencies. The focus is on the early phase of the value chain - where decisions are made about design, choice of materials and production strategies. Curated space allocation and changing uses create a dynamic place of work and discourse for designers, researchers and players in the fashion industry.
The building is located in the Nienstedten district, west of Jenisch Park with a view of the Elbe. The Wilhelminian-style villa is accessed via its own driveway on Elbchaussee and has a total usable area of approx. 833 m² spread over four floors (basement to 2nd floor). On the ground floor and first floor there are a total of nine room units between 21 m² and 42 m². On the 2nd floor (top floor) there is a granny flat of approx. 180 m², which is currently still rented out and can probably also be used in the future. The basement is divided into several small rooms and is currently used as storage and workshop space.
