Solo self-employed persons are persons who perform an independent job on their own, i.e. without employees. Compared to other economic sectors, the creative industries have an above-average percentage of solo self-employed people. People who offer creative services or products without being employed face special challenges in practice as they have to deal intensively and permanently with questions of their own positioning, customer acquisition, marketing, target groups, etc. Many of our offers are geared to the needs of solo self-employed people in the creative industries.
Our Q&A sessions held regularly in small groups provide basic information on self-employment in the creative industries. This offer is aimed at founders and actors in the creative industries with little business experience.
The Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft provides tailor-made coaching sessions with its pool of coaches and experts which accompany processes and are designed to strengthen business. Coaching sessions are subsidised financially, so that only a small out-of-pocket contribution has to be paid.
Our workshops are offered in cooperation with selected Hamburg experts from various industries and offer tailor-made as well as individualised opportunities for further training in various topics of business qualifications in small participant groups.
Cyber Law Clinic
Anyone who offers creative services or products via the Internet can take advantage of our legal advice in cooperation with the Cyber Law Clinic of the Faculty of Law at the University of Hamburg. On this date, law students, guided by experienced lawyers, are available for questions and orientation at the Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft.
