The Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft and the Ministry of Culture and Media are calling on up-and-coming start-ups and founders from all over Europe to apply for the Music WorX funding programme with innovative Music tech ideas for the Music WorX funding programme.

As part of the three-month programme, participants will receive effective support in developing their business idea through to marketability. A funding amount of 5,000 euros and a monthly living allowance of 1,500 euros per team provide the financial development framework, while workshops, training and individual coaching strengthen entrepreneurial expertise. In addition, access to a mentor network provides valuable contacts and flexible coworking spaces provide an inspiring workspace. High-profile presentation areas await participants at the Music WorX Pitch and at the conference part of the Reeperbahn Festival 2024.

The most promising start-ups will be selected by an expert jury. The jury members include Lena Ingwersen (Managing Director at Music Cities Network, Keychange Innovator), Julian Krohn (Director Music & Audio at Scholz & Friends), Johannes Rösing (Music Department, Hamburg Ministry of Culture and Media) and Marec Lerche (Head of Business Development at Warner Music Central Europe)

"We are looking for teams in the early stages of business development who want to take their ideas to the next level," explains Marie Schreiber, Programme Manager at Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft. "Our aim is to offer them an ideal development space in which they can turn their ideas into marketable products."

The Music WorX Incubator enables the selected teams to concentrate on developing their products and to set the pace and direction themselves. The teams retain full control over their ideas, as no company shares have to be sold.

Further information on the Music WorX Incubator and the application process can be found here. Interested parties can apply until 20 June using the online application form.
