Programmbeschreibung
This award is presented every two years to outstanding and original productions from the independent children's theatre scene. The aim of the award is to promote the professional independent children's theatre scene in Hamburg and to support its profile in national and international comparison. The first prize is endowed with 7,500 euros. Two further productions in 2nd and 3rd place are honoured with 4,000 euros and 2,000 euros respectively.
Förderkriterien
Independent ensembles can apply with puppet, figure, music, dance or spoken theatre productions for children up to the age of 12 that have been created in Hamburg in the two years prior to the call for entries. An expert jury will decide on the award. The next call for entries is expected to follow at the end of 2026.
