Nicola Bramkamp is a curator and was Director of Drama at the Bonn Theatre from 2013 to 2018. in 2014, she founded theArt meets Science initiative SAVE THE WORLD, which stages global future issues worldwide. SAVE THE WORLD brings together artists and experts to communicate the UN's Sustainable Development Goals to a broad audience. The artistic programme ranges from festivals, performances and shows to exhibitions, conferences and talks. Since 2018, it has organised the annual conference "Burning Issues - Performing Arts & Equity", Germany's largest industry conference on diversity, inclusion and equality, as well as TEDx Bonn. Most recently, she curated and conceptualised the roadshow "Wir können auch anders" (We can be different) and brought the good stories of transformation to the stage together with stars from science and culture such as Prof. Maja Göpel, Bjarne Mädel, Max Mutzke and others. She is also co-founder of the "Performing for Future" network, which - in addition to aesthetic issues - is committed to the sustainable, business-ecological reform of cultural institutions. For her commitment, she was awarded the "Kulturgestalten" future prize by the Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft in 2023. In addition to her work for SAVE THE WORLD, she regularly works as a consultant for social and cultural responsibility for companies (Jägermeister, Escada, etc.) and as a speaker and moderator.
